Who we are

Welcome to the Bell Family Farm Estate, a proud Centennial Farm rooted in the heart of the Unionville area since 1919. For over a century, our family has worked this land, honoring the rich agricultural heritage of Michigan's Thumb region while continuously looking toward the future. Centered around our historic 1880s farmhouse, the estate is a living testament to generations of dedication, hard work, and a deep, enduring love for the land.

Today, our homestead is a vibrant, bustling ecosystem where sustainable and regenerative farming practices take center stage. We believe in working in harmony with nature, which is why our property is a proud National Wildlife Federation Certified Wildlife Habitat, a NABA Certified Butterfly Garden, a dedicated Monarch Waystation, we've joined United Plant Savers Botanical Sanctuary Network and we've recently received Level I ArbNet Arboretum Accreditation. From tending to our heirloom gardens and farmyard to caring for our lively family of dogs, cats, goats, chickens, ducks, geese, peacocks, Guineas, songbirds, local wildlife, and our resident donkey named Jack, every aspect of the farm is managed with mindful stewardship and respect for the environment.

But the Bell Family Farm Estate is more than just a place where things grow—it is a place where community connects and history is actively preserved. Whether we are sharing a good read at the Bell Farm Book Barn, celebrating the legacy of local agriculture, or simply enjoying the quiet beauty of rural life, our mission is to honor our family's roots and share the magic of the homesteading lifestyle with others.
